The rotary evaporator is a kind of concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and refining instrument. The rotary flask rotates at a constant speed under vacuum conditions and constant temperature, allowing the material to form a film on the wall of the flask and evaporate efficiently. The solvent vapor is then cooled through an effective condenser and collected with a receiving flask, which is especially suitable for the concentration and purification of biological products that decompose easily at high temperatures. It is mainly used in the pharmaceutical, chemical and bio-pharmaceutical industries.
